Pneumoconiosis case studies

This chapter presents international case studies of pneumoconiosis and other occupational dust diseases, illustrating the ongoing health impacts of workplace dust exposure across a range of industries and countries. The examples highlight key issues in disease prevention, surveillance, diagnosis, compensation and worker protection, while demonstrating the importance of effective exposure controls and health monitoring programs in reducing the burden of occupational lung disease.
