Meso Hour: Tuesday 7 July 2026

Introducing Meso Hour –a dedicated national online program created for people living with mesothelioma and their families.  Taking place on the first Tuesday of each month, and coordinated by Jennifer Coles – Clinical Nurse Consultant, Meso Hour will feature an expert speaker on a topic relevant to managing mesothelioma. Whether you are a patient, carer, family member, friend or just interested in learning more, the Meso Hour is open to you.

Platform: Microsoft Teams: Once you register, you will receive an email with the Teams link and joining instructions prior to the session.

What to expect on the day:

  • Presentation by guest speaker
  • Q & A following the presentation
  • You are welcome to keep your camera off if you prefer

Dr Mo Mo Tin

Radiation Oncologist

Dr Tin obtained the fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiology/Radiation Oncology in 1999.  She spent 12 months as a clinical fellow in the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada. She joined the Radiation Oncology team at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in 2001 as a Staff Specialist and has been specialising in Lung, Head and neck and Skin cancers since then. She moved to the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse at RPAH when it opened in 2018 and remains there as a full-time Senior Staff Specialist.

Dr Tin has a special interest in Mesothelioma and is responsible for establishing Tri-modality therapy program for Mesothelioma patients at RPAH in 2004 in collaboration with Cadio-thoracic and Medical Oncology colleagues. She has provided radical radiation therapy as part of the tri-modality therapy to more than 100 patients so far. She has been involved in clinical research in Mesothelioma as well as establishing National Guidelines for treatment of Mesothelioma and patient information leaflets for Mesothelioma patients in collaboration with ADDRI.
